Comcast Corporation Location: Philadelphia, PA Industry: Communications Size: 1,200,000 square feet Completion Date: Spring 2008 Macro's Role: Post-TI Management, FF&E Management, Decommissioning, Disposition and Close-out Services Architect: Gensler, Daroff Design When Comcast management decided to build the tallest skyscraper in home-town Philadelphia, they knew Macro’s experience would be a key success factor. Macro was able to meet every challenge in managing the schedule, budget, cost control, and project activities for the Post-TI activities in this state-of-the-art building. Macro helped move all stakeholders through the project’s inevitable obstacles, guiding the team through the myriad of details that are part of a project of this scope and size.
Macro managed the many vendors, consultants and contractors involved in the furniture, millwork, signage and technology requirements, coordinating all of activities with the Tenant Improvement scope of work. Macro managed all aspects of Comcast’s relocation of 2500+ employees from six locations to Comcast Center, as well as the decommissioning of their existing facilities that were being vacated. Macro’s responsibilities also included the development and implementation of a space management program to track Comcast’s fixed assets and resources. BACK TO CLIENT LIST >>

When Sony Music and BMG Music merged, the new company selected Macro Consultants as its strategic partner for the furniture fit-out in Sony BMG’s New York and New Jersey locations. The Sony Corporation turns to Macro Consultants to act as its FF&E manager. When Sony underwent a shift in its internal alignment and strategic focus, the company asked Macro to analyze all furniture assets. Most recently, Macro handled all FF&E requirements for a 78,000 square foot renovation at the company’s headquarters at 550 and 555 Madison Avenue in Manhattan. BACK TO CLIENT LIST >>

When Northwestern’s Manhattan-based agency, The Nemec Agency, was preparing to move offices to its new 45,000 square foot facility, Macro was engaged to be the owner’s representative, with direct responsibility of all aspects of this capital project. Macro managed all matters relating to construction, furniture, technology, and move management.
