RAQUEL GAPAY
Senior Project Manager

Raquel Gapay is Senior Project Manager, leading the Relocation Management Group at Macro Consultants. Raquel is responsible for providing Macro’s clientele with comprehensive “white-glove” support to manage every detail of a relocation project, from the initial planning stages through final occupancy and, in many cases, complete decommissioning.

Raquel’s clients have come to rely on her ability to overcome any obstacle that may derail a project. Doing so with grace and presence of mind is a direct result of her 20 years of experience managing large facilities teams in New York City. As director of office services and facility planning at the J. Crew Group in New York, and as facility manager at OppenheimerFunds, she was involved in disaster recovery procedures as well as designing and building new facilities to relocate the company in the aftermath of the September 11th attacks.

Since joining Macro, Raquel was instrumental in the relocation of more than 2,600 employees at Comcast who moved from eight separate locations throughout the Northeast, into the company’s new 1.2 million square foot headquarters in Philadelphia. The project also included multiple moves within a short period of time for some of the company’s subsidiaries.

Raquel also managed build-outs and moves for Northwestern Mutual Financial Network, as well as decommissionings for various Comcast properties. She is currently managing CNS’ move within midtown Manhattan to Five Times Square, as well as the build-out for Daily Candy.

When managing relocation and decommissioning projects, Raquel has been actively involved in the development and management of clients’ employee communications, working with her clients’ vast workforces to keep them up-to-date of the pending corporate moves.

Raquel is a graduate of San Francisco State and holds a bachelor degree in Business Administration and Computer Science.
